About changes to my Art/Gallery
The changes to my account are to make sure that the art is noticed for other elements. The art that I want to create should have more meaning to it than just that, so I am just changing the focus as some have misinterpreted the meaning behind my art. Some arts will be added back after some changes to them, I do hope you will support my art during this time of adjustment! Some of the censorship will be adjusted to look more natural in due time.
Comments going forward should reflect the passion and effort put into my art, along with being general user friendly as that is how I want my art to be viewed going forward, not having the reason for the art determined by the type of comments received previously for focusing on just one element.

I've added some new items to the products I offer by way of commissions (e.g. Shimejis commissions and Animated YCHs). I also have an ongoing sale for the Animated YCHs and some other select standard YCHs. Make sure to check them out!

Commission Rules
I mentioned somewhat recently that I would be revising my commission rules, so it's time for that now. They are simple, yet straightforward, and they are as follows:
Payment for commissions will be received before work begins. I take PayPal and dA points.
I do not do NSFW art. No exceptions.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission.
Commissions will be done in the order that they are received. For faster service, please subscribe to one of my tiers (Bronze and up).
You may have up to three (3) WIPs (work-in-progress) previews of your commission while it is in progress.
Once your commission is complete, you are allowed three (3) free changes. Any changes after that are $5 each.
Giftlings and Chronomimis are handled somewhat differently: Upon hatching, you will receive three (3) free Retraiting Tickets. If any further changes are desired, contact me.
If something comes up that prevents me from streaming, I will do my best to reschedule it to a time that works best for me. My usual streaming hours are weekday evenings from 7pm-12a CDT.
Constantly asking for requests during artstreams will result in a ban from my streaming channel. Most of my streams consist of commissioned work. Asking me to completely stop doing work that someone else paid for is very rude, unreasonable and unacceptable.

July Update!
Hello again, everyone! It's time for the July Update! As I mentioned before, there's a LOT going on this month at the Atelier, so let's dive in and see what's up!
Let me begin by saying...
...that the past month was especially trying for me, due to lower than usual energy and spikes in depression for inexplicable reasons. There have been many times when I have the will to do art, or other things, but without energy, nothing gets done...therefore, progress has been slower than usual, and parts of this journal are the same as last month, so I'll include updates on that content here. It may be that my book drained me of so much energy...anyway, please bear with me as I continue to work on commissions. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Commission Catalog Update + Expansion!
My Commission Catalog will undergo a gradual update, which will include a revamped commission sheet and updated commission rules.
For years, I've done character art, including OC designs, custom commissions, YCHs and adopts here at dA. Much of this work has been art of characters in single images, which is standard for many artists. Doing only that would get rather stale after a while, don't you think? For that reason and others, I have decided to offer additional products! Let's take a look at what they'll be!
Animations
I've done a few here and there, as you can see from my gallery. Going forward, I plan to do animation commissions in a variety of formats, which will include:
-Basic motion (e.g. blinking, waving), flat shade or full shade
-Animated YCHs (coming very soon; stay tuned!)
-Custom animations
Comics
I will do comic strips--short ones, consisting of 3-5 panels. Note me if you want anything larger than that and I can give you a quote.
Chibis
You will be able to get your characters in my signature chibi style!
Sprites
I can make sprites of your characters (static or animated)!

- We all love our OCs. They're like our children, or our friends or family--but for the most part, they're static, lifeless images.
Wouldn't it be nice to bring them to life, to have them as your companions?
Well, you can!
The time has come! I can now make shimeji for you!
What are shimeji?
Shimeji are animated desktop companions that hang out on your computer screen. They pretty much have minds of their own. The cool thing is that they can be pretty much any character you want them to be!
I could use this space to address frequently-asked questions and technical things, but lots of other places have already done that. I will say that they are fun, easy and safe to use!
Things you will need:
--A PC or Mac
--The shimeji program, which you can download here: https://kilkakon.com/shimeji/
--Java
How to order
--Send references of the character you'd like me to turn into a Shimeji. Be specific! Help me help you!
-What I'm making for you:
In its most basic form, a complete shimeji consists of 46 individual frames, so I'm making you a folder of 46 flat-shaded images of your character, at 128x128.
Additionally, you get a custom icon for your system tray.
The total cost for the commission will be $90 / 7,200 points.
Delivery
I can send the images to you in a compressed folder via email/sta.sh.
From there, you will need to install them. Here's how:
-Download the program. Also install Java if you don't already have it. The actual Shimeji program is a .jar file that opens with Java.
-Extract the shimeji program to a folder of your choice.
-You will need to delete all of the default images.
--Do this by heading to the folder where you extracted the program, then go to shimejiee > img > Shimeji.
--Delete all of the image files there. They're named shime1-46.
--Go to the folder containing the images I created for you. Cut and paste all of them into the folder that contained all of the default images.
-To install the custom system tray icon, follow these steps:
--Go to shimejiee > img.
--Delete the file there named "icon.png".
--Go to the folder containing the images I created for you. Cut and paste the file named "icon.png" to the location where the default one was.
-Run the program!
